Hi Guys,

I have a marmoset front hub with what I believe is the ribcage rim.
I'm about to buy spokes and I'd like to confirm the size.

ALSO just tried to get my bolts off and both are bent and one side stripped (helicoil i think)
anyone have a fix or is it better to buy a new wheel?
Thank you

x2 for 186mm with a 3 cross lacing pattern.

188 will be too long, even with the shorter 3/8" nipples.

sounds like time for a new wheel ifyoure not into the hassle. new bolts for2.50$ fixing the helicoil is a whole different game, though, but if you can  fix it, can I send you a few more marmy axles in need of repair?

I ended up ordering a new odyssey wheel. I might try to fix the helicoil someday.
I bent the axles on both sides of my odyssey wheel first day though.
I'm wondering if my hub guards and pegs took enough meat from the length of the bolt to allow for bending and stripping in the hub shell. (plastic peg, metal guard)

I replaced them with some longer hardware store bolts and while less refined they seem to be holding up.

Thank you for the help.
I also checked on Albe's website - their spoke calculator had all the hubs I was looking for and the spoke length was right on.
