I was thinking somewhere around 800? I dunno. I'm guessing you're not in ca so you might be better off getting one local for cheaper.

I know nothing about guns, but I am really interested in a pistol for some fun at the range and possibly for home defense once I get my own place.
What is the best "bang for the buck" in this field?

EDIT: Shit, the law for handguns is 21 isn't it? Never mind. I was thinking that it was 18 but I might be thinking of rifles...
