Not sure if I ever posted this, but after selling my WRX i bought an XJ and put a small lift with 31's on it.

That's a good looking rig! Ive been an XJ guy for a long time. I've had 4 XJ's and 1 ZJ.
I'm keeping my eye out for a Forest Service XJ at auction to pick up cheap.
My dad worked for the Forest Service and got new rigs every 3 years. They got a ton of miles but the maintenance schedule on their rigs is really good and done locally.

My WRX is nearly paid off and will probably remain a weekend car. I need a DD while the truck is going through it's "restore".
Bist do rien defallen? Ich gleich zu radfahren!

still unfucking the bronco shit canned the body lift, lift blocks, yellow coil springs, steering stabilizers (6), Ranchco shocks (6) or side steps. I built a new rear bumper and converted the front bodywork to the 95 style. now im working on the front suspension i built some extended radius arms and im shopping for coil overs.

Damn, wish I had the means to fabricate shit at home.

I'd start making exhausts for the FRS/BRZ and charge fuck all (comparatively to what else is on the market) for them and become a billionaire. The average cat back for them is somewhere in the avenue of 1100 USD, and nowhere near that amount of money is spent on parts. It's all a mark-up for the name on the muffler.

The new view in my garage:

The wife had the Tiguan baby hauler out at the time, there is a Mk2 Gti in the carport, and my 4runner is peeking out from behind that.

The Mk3 will be leaving this week. Happy but a little sad about that.

Negative, I've been in Euro cars for the last 10 years.

My wife got an 08 civic sedan almost two years ago. Hers is 5 speed and pretty much loaded. I think she paid around that. She loves it and is constantly pulling around 40mpg from it.

Loved mine. I had the 2004 1.5 VTEC GD3. Used it for commuting and hauling shit in the back with the fold down seats. Was pretty good for camping too. I slept in the back for about a week when we went to the rally of the lakes. Comfy

Never had a problem with it bar the EGR valve went but I managed to salvage one from a crashed one in a scrapyard.

Get locking wheelnuts as the 4x100 alloy wheels tend to go missing as they fit on 80s and 90s Civics.

They are pretty slow though and the roof leaks sometimes in heavy rain.

I think we're buying a 2012 kia rio sx loaded for $6300. As long as she likes it and i don't have to fuck about with it, I'll be a happy man.
