The Koolchain is crap.I never had a chain that stretched as much as it did.

This new Odyssey chain looks beefy as fck.It could give the Wippermann chains a run for their money.

No grease used on the threaded pin dealy thing?

I for-see a LOT of kids cross threading this thing. Or installing it with the pin/threads going the wrong way and it self unscrewing...

Or maybe not, since the cost is so high, maybe the kids won't be buying it?

Odyssey makes some cool stuff but most kids are too dumb (or don't have dads to teach them) how to work on mechanical things.

Personally, I think this is a cool idea but I don't see myself buying one anytime soon.

If kids are that effing stupid they don't know how to install something this simple without messing it up.They need to be wearing their bike helmet 24/7 365 days a year.

Ya well if they would learn how to follow instructions or suck up their pride and have someone install it for them that knows what they are doing, the problems would not have occured the way they did.

G in the video of Jim talking about the key chain, I thought he said the chain is wider. (I'm battling major sickness at the moment so the old brain is t working that well) did I miss understand that or will it be wider than a normal chain? If so am I going to have issues with the mds clearance?

most of the chain wear ive seen on mds guards is cos of the pins sticking out from a regular chain and rubbing on the guard, because these are flush, hopefully itll be ok

Also. Will there be separate master links available? Other wise this chain becomes useless once it has broken. I suppose if you used the half like and kept the master link and spare pin for that. I think the chain should come with a spare master link anyway.

You think it should come with two half master links? You know two half links equal a whole link? One of each master link comes with the chain. They've also said in the fifteen threads about the Keychain that there will be master links sold separately. I think that's kinda the main point of the chain, you know? "Key" chain, like allen keys!
