Hammer and a punch is always an option. It usually demolishes the prongs making a second removal (with or without the proper tool) not so fun.

Anyone having issues with their V3 hazard hub? My hub has recently started to skip and makes a loud popping noise when it does.

Replace the pawls every now and then. They're like $2 with a new c-clip. Mine's skipping cause the pawls are too worn down.

Matching different black paints is a PITA... I have no real advice though. Call Fit and ask?

I know right! Ive just emailed them & asked. Also emailed the shop i bought the frame from & will most probably be buying the forks from so they can match them up & take a look.

Don't get shivs would be my only advice. They look fucking scary and having a part on your bike that you don't trust is fucking shit.

In my local group of riders there has been four cracked pairs of shiv's. I wouldn't trust them

How "bad" is it that on my back axle, none peg side, I have 2 or so threads worth of axle not reaching the end of the bolt? Like its not flush.

Had to take an angle grinder to it too get the previous bolt off as it was threaded to fuck on the end and I ran out of ideas.
