been doing the bessa r3a thing. its awesome minus the electronic shutter that just stops working when its cold out, and in new york in the winter it is always cold out. laaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

the 50 rigid summicron lens on there is amazing, amazing, amazing.

thats a great lens, a little heavy, but my favorite nikon long lens. i used it on one shoot and was really impressed by the autofocus. if i ever have an enormous amount of left over cash, i will buy one for myself.

John, what did you pay for that one?

500 flat with three of those 20$ softies. so 440? i just had it checked out too, by the looks of it, it is in excellent shape, minus the leatherette, thank god, that last m2 was a damn nightmare, it was falling apart on me, the rewind button fell off moments before i exchanged it, shows how much i know, i dont think i should have ever bought it

softies are good, they work, but i release the shutter so easily, like when i want to change the shutter speed i will accidentally shoot a picture. so they are kind of win lose. i want a leather kit for the thing, i just dont know if i hsould do the process myself, do you know where i can buy the leatherette?
