Pretty funny that after all the uproar about potentially doxxing this kid, people have found posts he made on reddit encouraging doxxing of people.

End of the day they're both dickheads and this whole thing makes everyone look bad.

I'd dread to think how long it was since the old pre-BG forums, maybe 17 years ago?

Brazed joints are very strong, generally the tube will fail before a brazed joint. Whether this applies to thicker BMX tubing I'm not too sure but I'm sure if done well it will be just as good as a TIG weld.

Let us know how qr goes with discs on road.

I run QR with road discs, it's absolutely fine. I think as long as you are using decent skewers, not crazy light things you'll be fine.

I always thought BMX would end up like skateboarding, you choose your size and then choose which colourway you want. The brand is more of a fashion statement than anything else.

Not to say there's not people innovating, but nowhere near as much as there used to be.

You not thought about machining a hub up? Maybe look for a good set of bearings first and work around them.

What discs are you planning on using? Surely any off the shelf pads will get destroyed stopping an 800lb plane. I'm guessing there's specific plane calipers / rotors.

What type of caliper have you gone with? A sleek little flat mount one, like the new road bike ones would look sweet on a BMX, post mount and ISO are both a bit bulky.

Why does every frame have seatstays that meet toptubes?

Probably helps with the spacing for these stupid wide tyres people have nowadays.
