Cleaned up the Steadfast, put on a 31t sprocket for that lovely 31/9 gearing. Finally put on a new set of Pleg sleeves since the old ones were getting pretty mangled. Bike's feeling pretty damn good!

Just picked a jar of anti seize up from the local auto parts store. Fairly cheap too. Not sure why I thought this stuff was so specialized/rare. Thanks BG, you helped me learn something new today and hopefully avoid this hassle in the future.

Thanks dudes, smacking the hell out of that bolt finally worked. Had to use the WD40 and let it sit, now cleaning it up.

Yeah, I'm completely out of that copper antiseize. What's a good alternative I could use/find locally? Would Phil Wood work? Anything easy to find at a hardware store or bike shop?

Can't get my Thunderbolts off of the bike, and I'm stumped. I use the anti seize compound included with the cranks, I've removed them 2-3 times before, but this time it's like they're welded on. I need to replace my old sprocket and these otherwise great cranks have thrown a wrench in the works.

I've used a rubber mallet to smack the arms, nothing has budged. I've used the 17mm hex arm to hit the spindle (small enough to avoid the cluster) and no movement. Even tapped on the spindle bolt, nothing, but don't want on beat on that important threaded bolt.

Only thing I can think is some WD 40 and let it sit, but I really don't like WD40 anywhere near my bike. Anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? Suggestions?

Last question, what would be a better option for an anti seize compound? I have a big tube of Phil Wood grease and no more of the included anti seize compound. Would that work? Not psyched on being unable to get these cranks off, and really not psyched on whatever that bronze stuff was. Wanna get out and shred soon, not be ordering crap online/waiting for labor day weekend to be over.

Thanks!

You can buy the Clutch non drive collar separately, they have the same spacing and the same ID as the Antigram collar. So you could get one and get the Clutch guard.

If I'm understanding you correctly, that'd be great to be able to make an Antigram cassette compatible guard out of a Clutch non drive side collar and a replacement Clutch guard. Not sure where these are available for sale yet, or if I'm following correctly (if this is possible) but that'd answer my Odyssey rear guard desires.

Hopefully a matching polymer front Antigram guard isn't just a pipe dream.

Aye, but BSD doesn't make one for the Antigram front for whatever reason.

Yeah, noticed that too. Not the end of the world, but this IS BG so I feel like I'm in the proper place to piss and moan a bit ;D Would really like to get some nice low profile guards like the current 7075 Odyssey Antigram guards but in a matching plastic/polymer set. The chromo insert/lighter guard outer is a fantastic design IMO, just wish it was a matching set of buttery smooth plastic like the Odyssey site has been promising. Any chance of that G, or has Clutch mania taken over and killed any Antigram projects?

Whatever happened to those polymer Antigram guards? Been rocking the aluminum ones for a while now without many complaints, but did get a gnarly metal splinter from rotating em and love how my Plegs slide compared to aluminum or steel. Odyssey site has been teasing me for years!

BSD has an Antigram specific jersey barrier guard. I got a BSD Jersey Barrier on my Ratchet and like it a lot, minimal resistance during grinds ;)

Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely look into that!

Really like how the Premium shape feels; big wide body, super thin, enough concave, light as hell. No bent spindles from riding em since last fall, but I'm a peg grinder.

For the sake of clarity, I picked up a set of the plastics on the cheap. They feel great, but $100 for a pair of metal pedals (BMX pedals are a relatively high wear part) is still extremely expensive. If you're going to pedal grind, definitely avoid them.

The lack of wrench flats is a bit of a hassle, but not a big deal. Makes it slightly harder using an 8mm Allen wrench, but installing them wasn't a deal breaker. I used the age old G-Sport advice and shouted, "STRENGTH OF A BEAR!" as I turned the 8mm and they went right on.

Dang, Sunday Seeley sig frame alone is $300. Sunday even says it's the aftermarket frame, posted above! In great shape, pegless for a lot of the riding. Only reason I'm not still shredding on it is because I like the more classic geo frames. Sunday makes good stuff! Last bump before eBay, and eBay is no fun.

I've been having too much fun with this bike. Been riding it as often as work and life allows. Already had to ditch the chain tensioners (I run my bolts tight and the aluminum was just too soft) and toss the Plegs and guards back on. The 39" Quik Slic from the last bike was too short on this CS brake bike and have been using the 44" Tree w/ Eclat hanger. Awesome!

Biggest improvement in BMX technology goes to Odyssey and their rim stickers. Sat down and got ready for the huge hassle rim stickers on laced wheels usually are. I'd been putting it off for a while. Stickers seemed to be precut and immediately came off. No glue residue remained. Mind=blown. My OCD thanks Odyssey!
