The Bike Shop / RNC Manufacturing returns to bmx!
« on: March 09, 2020, 09:14:14 AM »
Ryan Frisk has decided to make kick ass bike parts once again.. I immediately messaged him and asked about Titanium fullguard sprockets (I own one of the original 12) and he confirmed that he will be doing some, possibly lightned up and heat treated.

The Lounge / Matt Berringer comes out as gay.
« on: January 21, 2018, 05:18:17 PM »

I thought this would be a decent place to post and comment on the subject.

I'm more surprised that Berringer felt uncomfortable about coming out until now, He's such a nice person and his sponsors are the most understanding people in BMX, glad he finally felt comfotable enough to open up.

Sell and Swap / WTB: Frame for street/flat build.
« on: January 07, 2018, 06:09:51 PM »
Looking to find something decently priced, 19-20.5 tt length and has brake mounts.. I'd be stoked on an Intrikat or Standard Tao.

Prefer to spend under 100.00 but nothing over 150.00.
Hit me up.

Sell and Swap / 21" Standard 125-R trans red with seat, post and bb.
« on: December 26, 2017, 07:16:43 PM »
This frame spent most of its time in my friends trunk, I swapped him a freestyle frame so je could ride street with us and now I don't need it because I will probably never race bmx.

I would trade it for a short frame that would be good for street/flat, a lhd freecoaster (preferably Odyssey Clutch, Nankai or NYB) or a parts package..

If you're interested in buying it just shoot a P.M.
Pics (I can get more if you like).

I don't mind if they are 3/8 or 14mm or what offset they have, they can be ugly, dented, whatever as long as they ride fine I'd prefer something that isn't stock but I won't complain.

Nothing cracked or raked out, cheap is a plus.

Offer up!

The Bike Shop / Where can I get sprocket hat washers (adapters) in bulk?
« on: January 03, 2017, 08:11:19 PM »
I have searched around and didn't really come up with much, I know someone trying to start doing small batches of heat treated full guard sprockets and he is looking into getting a bulk load of sprocket adapters for 22mm and 19mm spindles.

Does anybody here remember the websites for some of the major Taiwanese bike part manufacturers?

Thanks guys!

The Bike Shop / questions for front and rear brake users.
« on: January 19, 2016, 09:13:18 AM »
So. I plan to do another 2 brake bike and want some ideas on what to use, I have Revenge brakes for the rear and a monolever small lever for the front but need front brakes, fresh pads for both, a rear brake lever and cable  and advice on whether to buy a new wire, inner liner and aluminum bits for my Nokon front brake cable or just get something else, also.. Odyssey gtx-r still the best gyro?

Suggestions on brake stuff and forks with brake mounts would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

I got some of the parts back from my bike that was stolen and some piece of shit mangled my insert in my left crank arm.. So, its time to part with my fancy shit for what I really need..

I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for 170mm or 175mm but would still take 165mm cranks.. Really anything but 180mm since the back end of my new frame is pretty short.

The Lounge / Annual who still posts on BG thread.
« on: May 29, 2015, 02:31:55 PM »
Who still uses this thing? I've been bouncing around alot and haven't been on here in ages, just healed up from mashing my face on a roof gap to rail and had my lock clipped and bike stolen a couple days ago, so I hope you fuckers are doing better, cheers

I mean, she had a pretty good run but where the fuck do you turn when you're looking for something that will last even longer?

For the record it's cracked under the top tube at the headtube, bottom of downtube gusset and headtube and at the opposite end of the gusset as well..

It's lasted over a week of moderate abuse since I noticed em but I can notice the flex and that's no bueno.

The Lounge / BMX mail order Christmas deals?

Does anybody know of any?

The Bike Shop / The "what the hell is Odyssey / Gspprt cooking up" thread.
« on: September 08, 2014, 03:37:27 PM »
Is their freecoaster running on pixie dust? Wheres the cromoly drive side guard? Is the Simian hub real or something Skomar made up while smoking ice?

Atop that, what has Odyssey not told us about, I'm sure we'll see something nobody knew about pop up at interbike..
