I actually saw some pictures on facebook of my buddy Matt Schilling riding that same quarter.  Honda in Rochester used to have a similar quarter, but it was never running when I lived there.  There are some really awesome jumps in Rochester now.  Same guys who used to hold the spot down at Honda.  If you are interested in trying to check them out, PM me and I can try to get you in contact with the crew out there.  They are bad ass dudes.

Matt is a good friend of mine, I see him pretty much every day haha. Small world! I'll definitely throw you a message when my car is back up and running and I'll actually have time to take a trip out there! Thanks man :cheers:

Is that Honda Hills in Rochester?

Nope, in Liverpool (NY) built up by some good friends, they've been working them up for years now. It's a super nice spot for trails. I finally went down the other day to help out and hang, ended up finishing the vert wall in one day.



There's a stream to the right that's perfect for water, vertwall is to the left, and there are a couple natural roll-ins in the rear along with where we hang out and sit around when we're not riding. Getting bigger and better every day!

Finally fixing some play in my front end, got a new (used) frame and the headtube must be a tiny bit shorter than my old frame so my forks bottom out on my compression bolt... but literally just enough to feel when I 180. So I bought a spacer and I'm putting that on, then going to ride on a nice sunny 35 degree day

I wanna trim my front axle down since I'm using an older wheel for the time being. Never trimmed axles, is it just a matter of hacking the excess off and filing down the ends?

Yup, go for it. Just make sure you compensate for how much space a peg will take up on there if you're running one. I've trimmed axles too short years ago and it's a downer.

Just lost my favorite spring-loader 2 days ago, huge disappointment. Think I took it out of my back pocket at a spot and forgot it when I left. No doubt some hoodrat has picked it up by now. I loved that thing...

Here's my current that I bought yesterday.. not as satisfying as the delight a spring-loaded blade brings me but it works.

If that means I can use my gmail account, that would be super cool. But if not I'll be fine. I noticed the forum icons where changed for a minute when I came back on.. the "new post in this thread" icons and stuff, but they're back to the usual now.. was that a little test?
