just remove all unnecessary parts then find the straightest chainline and shorten to fit there. chain tension may be hard to get right though.

Sup. I even work in a bikeshop now where half the staff are BMXers and the owner is 100% mid school BMX.  Still haven't ridden properly in a few years.

Went out yesterday for the first time in around 3 years. I can still feeble and smith downledges in shitty skateparks, muscle memory is still there but everything is much more physically exhausting.

Probably the wrong place to ask but whatever. Sold a bike on eBay. Buyer hasn't paid nor responded to my messages for over 48 hours. He has 2 feedback from months and months ago. He's not buying it is he? Where do I stand with cancelling the order?
send him an ultimatum? I sold a bike last week and his communication was bad, then the buyer had an attitude as if I was selling him dodgy goods. Took a photo of me and everything. I would have preferred the 2nd bidder had won, he was much more polite.

It baffles me when people are concerned about their finances and yet are eating out regularly and have cars on finance. My colleague is always complaining she is poor yet eats out for lunch everyday.

Why not sell your cars, pay off the finance, and buy a cheaper car outright? Will save you loads each month
my mate was like this, stated he had to leave london as it's too expensive, but was paying £400 a month finance on a car that was way beyond his means. we managed to convince him to trade it in eventually, he now has a car which he owns outright and is still very nice.

It's great clinton gets the blame for gee dubya and his warmongering. I'm not saying she (more accurately: her advisors) aren't culpable for some of it but if you think trump = lovely peacetime and prosperity you are a mug. the man is a lunatic.
also "paranoid" mexican is right.

turns out it's not binding, it was just a survey. parliament can choose whether or not to act on it and cameron has effectively delayed or nullified it by standing down anyway.

it's pretty shit, and the immediate u-turn the brexit cunts made on their bullshit promises makes it even worse. they suckered loads of idiots into believing they would support nhs and cut migration but they won't/can't and it was clear they wouldn't, gove and boris are anti nhs and always have been. we also now have nigel farage, national hero.
middle englands racism has been exposed pretty well though.

britains eu borders are now in ireland and dover, so now it's even easier for the scary forruns to get in.

would love one to commute on (lazy) but they are all so heavy and badly specced unless you spend a fortune.

The Bike Shop / Re: new T1/animal tires
« on: March 24, 2016, 12:00:59 AM »
I hope it has thin sidewalls. Thick sidewalls are good for grinding durability but tend to ride and land harshly on anything that isn't perfectly smooth concrete. Thin sidewalled tires give you a much nicer ride and also happen to be lighter (roadies refer to them as 'supple' I believe).
Mountain bikers set their tires up tubeless for this exact reason. The general bmx community is definitely too dumb to understand or try it but I'm surprised no one on bikeguide has tried it.
someone here did, a guy from the uk who also rode mtb. it was AGES ago though.

I heard on the radio that Batman vs Superman needs to make $1 Billion usd to not be a flop. Don't know how true that is but wow
1 bilion is the benchmark set by similar films like avengers, it'll do well even if it it supposed to be a turd.

Have you got a Feather on the way? Anyone got any tips on a headset expander that will actually work with a Thomson top cap? I've ordered two in at work so far (One23 and some other piece of shit) and both are slipping in my carbon steerer.

I had the same issue. I bought one of those stupid light weight alu ones and stripped it out, tried a couple other expander plugs, everything kept slipping and my headset could never get tight enough. I ended up repalcing it with one of these:

these are the best i have found too.
