Is it a specific forum doing it or all of them?

Basically you have too many attachments.

You need to either go into your control panel (top left, labeled UserCP), go into attachments and remove some of them.

Other options are to upgrade to a Premium Account here, giving you double the space, or host your pictures someplace else. Bg is not your personal picture hosting service.

15 megs should be plenty.
30 is available to Premium Members.

These numbers may increase in the near future but not right now.

First post from a Newbie, here. Congrats on your 5 years. Just read your interview on BMX Union - good stuff with some solid insights on what it takes to run this site. BTW, found out about the site via the HAMB. Worked with Ryan in KC a few years back. He's good people.

Welcome!

BG is officially 5 years old Oct 2.

While we did have a site and forum up before this, Bikeguide.org the domain is now 5 years old and was sort of like the Grand Opening and official birthday.

For those curious the original site was started in may of 2002.

pm a mod

Admin, mods cannot do it.
I don't either as it confuses people.

Oh, and they do not have to do it either, it is up to them.

White Lightening for cables and chain (plastic bottle NOT the spray).
Phil grease for bearings.

Go to the local auto parts store and get anti-seize. Total, under $15.

Site Help and Rules / Moola, referrals, invites etc... for anything...
« on: September 18, 2007, 10:03:28 PM »
If I see another Moola (or any other earn ____ type crap) thread, I will ban whoever posts it.

This is not a place for you to use to get rep, cash, points, whatever.

If you want to try and make money here, you better be prepared to give some back. I am NOT going to pay for you to make money. I pay a lot to keep this place running. I do not pay for it for you to get free advertising for you to make money.

Basically if it gets you something, money, Ipod, laptop etc... and I get nothing, then it does not belong here. Start your own site and foot the bills THEN you can advertise for free.

Https looks like it may be a bust, I am still looking into it a bit.
Also I have to see if Vbulletin is going to want another license, if so, HELL NO!

WAP is going beta later this weekend.
Looks like it should not be too difficult, but it may look like ass.

If they build that into the forum program then yes, otherwise I have no plans to do it myself. At least not for now.

I will see what is available though if it can be done easily, maybe.

After a while I sometimes do trim the old pictures as they take up a lot of room.
