frame flex on a 4.5lb frame
« on: November 18, 2017, 11:19:12 AM »

yeah I can feel this kink mud runner flex when I ride it. I do mostly park and some light street and the frame seems to hold up fine but God damn I can feel this flex, should I be worried? I let someone else ride it for like a minute and he was able to clearly notice the flex

is it okay?

I have had two previous 4.5lb frames, one lasted 6months, the next last 6years so...

You want all frames to flex a little bit otherwise they’d all crack. But how much is too much? Hard to say honestly

It could be cracked. Most frames are sub 5lbs these days and most seem fine. Get a barcode if flex bothers you.
