I wonder if these would be useful for a non-amputee. I can imagine riding a platform pedal without pins, feet might slide around though.

wow that's amazing. I remember seeing the video he put out right before going into surgery and thinking it must be devastating to lose such a talent, so I'm really glad to see him back on a bike, spirits unbroken. and I know it's a cliche, but he still seems better than I am, much respect.

That's cool. Stronger grip than your average but might be easier to hit the ejector seat than spds/straps. I'd guess it'd be good in the wet too.
