anything wrong with running a sprocket like this?

I've never paid any attention to or used spline drive sprockets, but I assume having a spacer between the arm/sprocket shouldn't cause any problems?

it'll be a little different when I'm done, but I'm pretty sure I need to space it like this to keep the driveline straight.   anyone else done it?

dude...:
shouldnt matter with spline drive, no

metalbmxer:
Just make sure your chain line is good and that your cranks are evenly on the spindle and you are good! My buddy runs his like that btw

milhous:
Most of my spline drive set-ups have a spacer between the arm and sprocket. Get the chainline dialed, then space the arm out enough to clear the chainstays.

that's been my issue, getting it even on both sides. but I got some spacers yesterday and it should be good now
