Wow. I would probably never shoot that. It would hang on the wall and that would be it.

Who got a suggestion on a 9mm 1911?
(I've checked out some CZ's, Glocks, Hi-Powers; but they just don't compare)

Springfield Armory, Kimber, Sig Sauer and the likes all make them, but I quite haven't found a model that really fits my fancy.

I really like the Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm. Definitely something I will own. I've heard good things about the STI Ranger series as well.

..Plain jane 590a1..18.5"..dont really care for the speed feed stock. Placed an order for the non-feed speed one but my dealer went ahead and got it at no extra charge for me so thats cool.

Heading to the desert on the 26th, figure its time I mount a light on the AR. Very hesitant to buy Surefire since I can't justify the cost for what it is (quality of machine work mainly, lacking) but they are on sale right now at my LGS. Picked up the M600C and SR07 switch. Ordered a Gear Sector low profile offset mount for it as well.

ok boys and girls, i'm looking into buying a 12 guage... any suggestions?
not looking to spend more than 3 or 4 hundred.

my buddy has an 870 express but i have read mixed reviews online about their machining not being quite as good as the wingmaster and causing some reloading issues.

just curious if there are any other guns i should be looking at in that price range?
experiences with 870 expresses?
lost your job? keep buying foreign.

I have an older 870 that has always been smooth as silk and would cycle anything you put in it without issue. I also have a newer 870 Super Magnum that will jam when trying to cycle the fired shell out if I use anything other then Remington ammo. My newest 12 guage is a Remington SPR-453 semi auto also known as the Baikal MP-153. It is a Russian made gun that Remington imported in and put their name on. They can be had for less then $400 new and will cycle anything I feed it smoothly. The fit and finish is not  the greatest but the gun is built very well and is the best priced auto loader on the market.
