me ,hessam and metro nomos(sp?) are all from vegas. there a a bunch of friendly riders in these parts so if you coming try to make contact with any of us.
home parks and spots:
hessam- desert breeze, some trails and a little street. works at bikes, boards and more most days and bike trail on rainbow on the odd weekend.
me - pro, bunker, the y, and more and more street by the day. i'm trying to become the vegas "street guy".
metro - i've never met the guy but i know he rides anthem and has some decent trails.
i'll try to update with some numbers and other riders when i get a chance.
22 parks, lots of street, and trails to keep you busy. sound like the place to be.

as for parks we got a ton i would recamend the y, and pro(both right near my house, bunker is pretty close to) and anthem. all thee of those are relly good. don't bother going to skate city it's to small and to expensive. i'll try to talk to some otf the other rider i knlw and set something up for ya. just try to get in touch while your in town and we'll do something.

I lived there for 7 years and then moved back to Canada, I miss it. There is decent street, but it's really spread out so you would need to drive from spot to spot. The parks are great, with lots of friendly riders.

Vegas sucks ass. I live in henderson, that sucks too. I plan on moving soon.
The streets suck, everyone is an asshole/tourist. The parks are ok. Anthem, St Rose, those are good parks.

Really, it is the shithole of the western US. I don't know anyone that likes living here.
The biking scene is huge though. Ride to any high school after 2 pm, and you will see almost 20-30 bikers riding to their spots.
When you get to the skate parks though, you don't see alot of "pros", mostly just the noobies that are learning grinds, eating shit, crashing, etc etc...

i just remembered my login stuff here, i havent been on here in 3 years or something. if your bitching about the people and the riding in vegas it usually means your a ******. get over it, start talking to people and dont get anal if someone isnt jumpng for joy to talk to you.

I just moved to Nevada last month to live/work on this organic orchard.
The people, at least in my part of Nevada (Nowhere), are really nice. But its a small town, and people are generally nicer in small towns than large cities.
But yeah, my bike should be shipped from Indiana (where I came from) in the next week or so then i'll be able to ride again. Working on some trails here out on the orchard, and will probably venture into Vegas here and there (but not too often) to ride.
I just like to stay out of large cities, if I can.
