Proper Bike Co have a brand new product out for their ‘Microlite’ range in the form of this front load stem. The specs are below
Specs:
- 6061 T-6
- 52mm reach
- 249g (8.78 oz)
- Recess allowing for the fork compression bolt to sink flush for a clean look.
- Rounded back that stays out of the way of your knees.
- Internally relieved and slotted top to bottom (stronger than side to side).
- Additional clamping area for slip-free bars.

I saw a proper hub at work that was nearly broken in half from the shell all the way through. It was funny. I like proper just because.

The stem looks pretty good. Not a fan of Proper, but I like the stem.

now i like how the stem has the round slot for the compression fork bolt. its clean but thats probably the only thing i like about it.

It says that the back is rounded..But the bolts are protrudin..I don't think that's any safer either..:D

That stem is a prototype. The finished ones come with slightly shorter bolts.

I like how it looks around the bar clamping area, and the fact that they kept the 6 bolt design, super!

Looks alright. I like the how your compression bolt will be all flush. Still I think the primo aneyerlator is better than this.

how? every product they have come out with fails some way or another plus they never warrentied my proper hub that broke
