mac help

[under 24lbs]

i seem to be having issues with my mouse mainly that when i try to click on an icon such as firefox/itunes etc it will not open but will give me the same options as if i had used right click?

any help appreciated :)

are you just clicking on them or holding the left button down?

desktop or laptop?

is your ctrl button stuck down?

check your mouse prefs to make sure you dont have the left button set to bring up shortcut menus.

The problem seems to have fixed it's self after leaving the computer off for a couple of days, strange still?
