i know there's a few israeli's on here, you ever go to the west bank?

looks like i'll be going there soon (ramallah) and i was wondering if there was a riding scene out there? i know i could just take my bike and risk it, i've done this before with skating in the middle east. but never in an area like the west bank, and never without knowing the locals.

hmmmm, not sure about riding on a memorial museam...

looks like i'll be spending a week in tel aviv before going up to ramalah, did you go there erik? i've found some links to skateparks in tel aviv, but i'm not sure if they allow bikes or not. i'll only be able to ride for a couple of days, so i think chancing a park in tel aviv is my best option.

might not be a good idea, they were pretty nazi about the whole deal there. couldnt even cross the road, to get to the parking lot, wherever i wanted..

hook up with Ben here on the forum, he lives in tel-aviv. i talked to him before i went down there, but unfortunately i couldnt go to tel-aviv at all.
he can probably hook you up with both parks and riders, im sure.

There's a kid named ben on here with like an egg as his avatar, or something like that. I'm not sure where in Israel he's from, but he is from there. Contact him. Israel's a real cool place from what I've seen of it, although I was only there for like three days...

Tel Aviv skatepark is officially skaters only, but there's no gate or fence. There's a crowd who ride it at night.

Never rode Ramallah, but did a bit in Bethlehem. They get bikes that are stolen from Israel, so some nice kit. Crowd I was with were pulling wheelies on MTBs, so easily impressed. Fun.

Sorry I came across this thread so late. How did the trip go?

I found Givatime kind of slippery, but it's worth seeing for sure.
