A question for any scottish members...
« on: February 02, 2018, 06:56:29 PM »
Hey guys, it's been a while. I return with a very odd question, but what's new, right? The question is, can any scottish guys access your country's sex offenders list that includes a photograph of the person? Some of you might know why I'm asking... but I'm guessing most don't. There is a BMX company owner that MAY have been semi-recently busted with child porn, beastiality (with dead animals), and cannibilism photos. He's already been convicted (although extremely lightly sentenced!) and said to be on the sex offenders list for the next 10 years. OR it's someone with the same name, same age and roughly same location. I HOPE that the reason he hasn't been outted publicly is due to the lack of being any to attach a photo to the news story, as the ones online come with no picture of the person. Either that, or it is really him and the BMX powers that be prefer not to put a black eye on the sport. Selling little kids bikes while liking little kids... not a good look ya know? If anyone can, please let me know and I'll send of the name of the alleged person.

Thanks!

A quick Google search for the words Scotland, sex offender plus the name of the only UK bike company owner I can think of gave me a website that said the man convicted was 48. That sounds a bit older than I think the BMX dude could be. Who knows though, I may be thinking of a completely different person/company.

Sounds like a gee up. Paedophilia, zoophilia, nercophilia, antropophagy all in one person is pretty incredible

If he's anything like the welds on his companies frames, he didn't penetrate.

Seriously though, I hope it's not him and I hope the bmx community wouldn't sweep something like that under the rug.

The gussets are awesome.  My wife has been needing my name carved into her for about a decade.

Rider bio for possible person shows birthday that puts them at 48 years old...  If this is real, this is really sad for bmx.

oh boy. Bio lists place of residence as a place in the UK that's isn't scotland  but this looks bad.

All the locations mentioned (hometown/place of residence/location of offender in news article) are nowhere near each other.

I'm drawing a blank here, the only Scottish company I can think of is BSD and GS isn't 48.

I don't want to post the name in question because if he is innocent, it would suck to have a search pull this thread up.

BUT... I'll be vague and let you guys figure it out. It only took me a couple minutes. I've seen nothing about Scotland, all the locations are UK (technically in Britain I think) - hometown listed on his company's website rider bio, and the location of the convicted person in question. The name and age are a perfect match.

He's been in the game a long time, rode for another British company, then started his own.

I really hope it's just a bad coincidence of another convicted perv with the same name, age, and region in the UK.

Pretty sure Ian lives in Hastings and this is nothing to do with him other than an unlucky namesake.
