Larger bars with 5 to 6 degrees of upsweep?
« on: July 02, 2015, 09:47:43 AM »
Does anyone know of any bars with 5-6 degrees of upsweep, 10-12 backsweep that are 9 inches or greater?  I've noticed my wrists / hands naturally rotate so that I'm putting more pressure on the outside of my wrists and I'm thinking more upsweep can help with this.

Thanks.

if you dont run brakes you can hold your bars just on the bend and thatll make it feel like theres more upsweep. i go through phases where it feels better to hold the bars with my thumb resting on the bar itself, on the inside of the grip cos of this
this year i am going to have sex and it will be awesome

Tree Bicycle Moto are tall and have a 4 degree upsweep option.

Or these:

These aren't 9", but you could run a tall stem:

Maybe someone should invent slanted grips that add upsweep to bars that don't have it..... ; )

Are you sure you don't need less upsweep? If you're feeling all that pressure on the outside of your wrists, going down to a 1 degree upsweep might be what your wrists are telling you.

Thanks for pointing that out, I described it wrong.   The inner part of my wrist carry most of the weight while the outer part are stretched.  I'm just trying to get better wrist alignment.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I'm going to check some of them out.
