racing tires and pegs
« on: April 15, 2015, 04:06:21 PM »
does the tread on the Kenda Konversion Folding Tire reach towards the sidewalls?
Could i grind on these tires? anyone know

I was running kenda compact tires on the rear and  they quickly started to tear through the sides but the tread looks much much more narrow on those tires
hmmm

1.95's on a wide gsport rim

these will be for the rear. they will recieve the occasional feeble on a gnarly, rough ledge

i have micro knobbies on the front but recently the sidewalls have torn a couple times on 360's

Bought a few Kenda tires about 10 years ago with the same basic idea. Seemingly good BMX tires for a low price, awesome!

Then I realised that they wore through and got punctures at 10x the rate of the Schwalbes that were 3x the price I was running at the point, so the economic side to it is actually not good.
