1988 22re fairly stock. Removed cat and what not. Going to eventually SAS it and probably drop a V6 in once/if the 22re ever shits the bed. I drive a lot, so I want a road worthy/off road capable daily driver.

No one has anything new to share?

I just did a clutch swap in my car. God damn it was a pain. Had 3 days off work and needed to get it done on jackstands. We made it though. No more slipping clutch is awesome. Shit, being able to shift is awesome.

R Series are fairly stout engines. You'll have to try to kill it.

Oh I know. She's got nearly 300k, and has no signs of slowing. I love my little 22re.

It would have been great to have parents, but it made BMX so much more hardcore and real not being able to buy anything new, ever.

That’s fantastic. How often is your retrospective “this is where I am now?”?

Thank you.  And absolutely!  Started an instagram to join the new millennium and start sharing some of what I've been fortunate enough to collect.  Will be posting all my cars there: https://www.instagram.com/tireandcrown/ or @tireandcrown

Thanks guys!  Lots of times I look back in disbelief.  Makes the past decade plus of grinding it out almost seem worth it haha.

Hopefully next summer I will be in that area! When it happens I'll shoot you a message on here or something. Would be cool to already have someone to kick it with.
