I don't really know what I'm going to do with my life career wise but i would like to be able to buy a house by the time I'm 25 since i don't like the idea of renting. I either want to get into a trade school,go union for something, or buy a dually and haul cars. Life is coming fast and i can't see myself working at my current job or department for my whole life.

Ginger, you guys get paternity (is that even the proper term?) leave? Very rare in Canada for dads to not go to work after having a kid. I seem to recall you being a student though?

I work full time and do my masters after-hours/weekends. Government gives us 2 weeks paternity leave paid at the minimum wage and I also negotiated extra time with my employer directly. Mothers get 18 weeks leave, pay can be negotiated with employer and you also get a certain amount from the government depending on your circumstances.

I've watched seasons 1 - 4 of Parks and Recreation. S4 wasn't quite as good as s2 and s3. Should I buy S5,6,7? Does it get better again? If its going to carry on getting worse then I won't bother.
