Yup, that is 100% correct. It is a gun blueing process. It was a pain in the ass to do... if I ever do it again I'll use a slightly different method that will hopefully be easier.

Good looking rig right there.  Not a big fan of the new Tree hubs, but other than that, thing looks super spiffy.

I really like the way that Tempered stem looks.  Very simple and nice.

What color is that on the frame?
