This place is off the interstate in south Austin.  i've never bothered to pullover to check it out but finally did.  it's an abandoned waterside that was operating in the 80's.  now it's a bit overgrown but I was able to bomb down it while carving all the turns.  it's great until the end.  if you don't stop on time your'll crash into a murky black water puddle.

ahhhhhh i hate having no pegs

The real question is, why don't you have pegs?

I think I know the answer, and if it's because you're trying to go as light as possible, it is not worth it. Grinding is much more fun that not grinding, the little extra weight is justifiable.

Water slide spots looks like something that is good in theory but probably doesn't offer much by way of riding.

you're right.  you really cant session any particular part because it's all downhill.  The second picture is taken facing uphill so it's actually two sets of lefthanded curved wallrides.  that part is fun to hit but then you have to jump on the binders before you crash into the murk.  it's only fun to take a few runs down but definitely worth checking out.

We've came across a skatepark in the centre of Birmingham that none of us have ever heard of, even people who ride the nearest indoor skatepark under three miles away didn't know it existed.

It's been there since 2009, has crazy bowls, a cradle corner, ledges and hips but is in such a shit hole area. I'll post pictures on the computer tomorrow.

someone who knows how to code things should make a world map of spots- users can take a photo on phone or whatever with location settings/gps coordinates embedded. upload them and everyone has a handy map of every city with pictures of spots for when they visit.

Couldn't this be used by cities to find out what spots to put stoppers on, block off, etc?

It could, but seeing as they know all the spots that get ridden anyway it doesnt really matter.
