Get a dirt Harry, or a gold finger. Both hinged and cheap

Cheers boys, got a gold finger, liking it so far but not sure whether I'll be able to find it very quickly in an emergency - it's tiny!

I got new bearings for my front hub because I was paranoid after I fell off. New ones make the hub wobble. Put old ones back in, no wobble. I got ZZ bearings rather than RS because the internet said that would get me more fasts, is that the reason for the wobble? Or just crappy bearings?

I thought zz and rs were to do with the seal on the bearing, not the size. The seats of for the bearings might be off?

Yeah ZZ has a metal seal rather than a rubber one. I just don't understand how it had a ridiculous amount of play with the new bearings but none with the old ones.

Has anyone rebuilt Ruben pedals? There used to be kits sold by fly. Seems difficult to unseat the bearings (or races in my case).

Did you make sure there aren't any shims pressed onto the older bearings? Are they dimensionally equal? Any play when the new bearings are out of the front hub?

No shims, new bearings seem fine out of the hub. Stupid play when in there though. Maybe just shitty bearings/fitting?
