I don't think you would be able to guarantee even tension in the same way you would on a proper wheel build. To be fair, I could be completely wrong, but it just seems like a bodge when you could spend an extra 20 mins doing it properly

Buy the right sized spokes and then make a trip down here and I can help you out with it.

Are you allowed to make big boy decisions yet?

Edit:

It wont get egged if you do it correctly...
Loosen ALL spokes, then replace as you go working from the valve stem around. I've done it before and IMO its really not that difficult, but its IS a pain in the arse.

Much easier and beneficial to take them all out and replace... starting from scratch is easier than trying to problem solve each little step...

I need a good chrome rim other than g-sport/odyssey... if there aren't any I'll go back to 7kas 90 bucks a rim is just a lot to me, and the chrome is pitting on my Primo VS's...

Yeah but I'm sure they know this so there warranty program is probably good on it. I would look into a Brian Foster stem!
