They're gonna be horribly uncomfortable on the top. Plus a pretty defined transition to the hoods if you run brakes. Other than that, a typical track drop with a ton of flex. But you wouldn't notice if 31.8 bars didn't exist.

With road bikes is it best to replace the chain when its stretched past 1mm (according to a chain checker) or just keep running it til the cassette needs replacing due to slipping anyway and do them both? Cos my chain seems to be stretched but I've only done about 700 miles on the bike, not sure what a good mileage is for road bike drivetrains.

Anyone on here run a 36/10 gearing? How does it feel?

Building my old Barcode up, only have a 10T rear wheel and need a 36T sprocket  to clear my brake.

I've ridden 39/11 which is very similar and it was quite hard. A good pedal or 2 and you're flying. If your riding requires little pedaling and more pumping you'll prolly like it.
That's WACC!

Going to be riding trails mainly so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

That's proper Tee. I personally ride almost all fast park so I too want something harder.

I'm on 30/10 now but does anyone know if a 33 with fit on a s&m CW v2 with a decent chain line?
That's WACC!

This Brooks seat is "proper" for a track bike right?

Just get what you want. Look for a used turbo or something like that on CL and save yourself a ton of money. To answer your question though, I loved my Brooks when I had it. I prefer the Swallow saddle though.

Brooks seats aren't track seats, so no it isn't "proper". It is comfortable, though. I ride a Swift on my road bike, but wouldn't put one on a track bike. Commuters and ss/fixed bikes used on streets are a different story.

I just bought a nos RNC lite sprocket (28t). Will it fit my first generation Wombolts? (I've been out of the bmx thing for awhile. Can't wait to start riding again)

Probably not, Odyssey Wom/Twom/Thunderbolt cranks have a 15/16" "lip" where the sprocket sits. You will need to get it machined out a hair if you want to use it.

How do those velcro pedal straps hold up compared to cages? I have some cheap cages with leather straps that are slipping so I wanna look into straps instead.
