that looks really nice.

as for the trans color: i think that depends a bit on the parts that you plan to use for the build.

everything is polished!
with black forks bars and cranks

No sanding at all it was rawed with stripper and I polished it up with fine steel wool and used mothers polish and a foam buffing wheel and went to town on it.

I know exactly what I'm doing to my bars now, thanks!

Did you avoid the weld burns too?

The gussets are awesome.  My wife has been needing my name carved into her for about a decade.

Yes avoid the welds with both the polish and the steel wool unless you don't want the weld marks.

i wouldn't do trans red, blue, purple or green, then.
aslo, i'm not too much of a fan of painted forks and bars on a silver/chrome frame.

i would either strip and polish the forks and bars as well (would then look very similar to Tom's bike.) or keep the black forks and bars and paint the frame trans black/gray.

it's up to you, of course.

whenever i can't make up my mind about a color theme, i usually browse bmxmuseum for a bit.

I was thinking of a trans brown or a trans teal I also found a trans white but I don't know how that would turn out
My forks and bars would be super hard to strip they are that rp black
Odyssey r25 and tree moto bars

Took off the pegs got a new chain since my éclat one ended up breaking. Ordered more bars for some reason and got a stem for it. 21.25 is turning out to be pretty good so far. I need to get out and do some thrashing downtown if it continues to be somewhat decent out.

fixed my chain as i noticed a plate or two starting to pull off the pins, i should probably invest in a sprocket with a guard or start getting better at opposite pedal feebles. anyone in the uk got a 28t guard sprocket they dont want?

I rawed and polished the Ruben.
I haven't cleared it yet, I'm trying to decide if I want to throw a trans color on it.
Any suggestions on if I should clear it as is or throw down some trans paint?

Quoted the photos because everyone needs to see this beauty! PLEASE dont paint it, just gloss clearcoat! Its fooking beautiful!
