What did you do to your bike today? (v2)

I don't know if the actual materials are different but $30 is awesome no matter what. And I was going to spend my money at the shop for some pedals but everything was $20+ so I had to pass.

Yeah, good price for what look like identical pedals.  I'd also be throwing them on my 6" FR bike so it's not like they'd be seeing huge impact forces (as opposed to a bmx bike).  I would be concerned about rock strikes ripping out the pins but I figure that will happen to any pedal.

I am pretty spoiled being a local.  I ride there almost everyday.  Once a week with my kids and once a week for 4 hours... the ther 5 days I try to stop for 30 minutes to an hour on my way home from work.

chucked the shits and took all four pegs off, bike feels grossly light now. it was 12kg's with pegs so fuck knows what it is now but its gross, thinking of swapping back to my howler go rhd and run my oppo pegs only

Scored a railed Aitken seat that was sitting on a Sunday complete at my lbs. They hooked it up and sold me the seat for a fair price. Stoked.

Rattle canned my whole bike and put my older Cult bars and s3 stem back on.

rode it, put the headset together properly, tightened and trued the wheels, popped a tube while doing so, replaced rim strip, replaced a tube, put my old shadow seat back on.

feels good to ride again.

pretty much anywhere i work in the bay, there will be a nice concrete park to chill at for an hour or two while rush hour traffic dies down

although rays would be way more badass

Drinking last night got txt to show up at rays at 6am to be on live tv morning show.  not as cool as it sounds.  got a flat approaching a jump right in front of the cameras and had to carve out of the line.  did get decent footage on a pump track 20 person train.  Rode until 8:30am and then went to work extremely tired with a slight hang over.

I have an abcess on my finger and hit a hip so high that when i landed a bunch of puss gushed out

and it got all over my grip. so thats what i did to my bike today, i soaked it in puss
and i put some new stickers on it
