WD stands for water displacer so it is in fact the opposite of a lubricant. WD40 is helpful in some applications but is for the most part something that doesn't need to be close to a bicycle.

My bike has a flat tire so i'd like to fix that and spend some time cleaning it throughly.

Replaced my headset with an Odyssey one. Took all my stem bolts out and greased them since they were creaking. Feels much better. And put some air in my tires. Then I tried to put my spare bike together, front end is almost new and clean, the drive train is pretty damn sketch. I need to find a cheap back wheel for it.

Much happier now.

Rode it more, which is so great after not being able to for a while again. Figured out that my beloved Federal 4pc bars might have to hit the trash can due to over tightening my stem at some point. Sucks, but I'm just happy to be riding my bike enough to find out!
