I was seriously looking into buying it, but it has too much rust on the frame that needs repaired and I have too little experience with that.

Because most of them have been halfassed with only looks in mind. I've heard way too many horror stories of people buying cars off there only to find tons of body filler, horribly monkeyfucked electronics.

It's just a bad idea.
