All this talk about 9mm.. Going to buy a glock 19 or 17 but not sure. Pretty much only going to be used for pistol class since I don't want to feed my 1911's

Do it!

I'll probably pick up a 9mm comp gun one day. Not sure what though...

And I liked my old XD45, but the trigger was a bit mushy. Overall a great gun and stupidly reliable.

I personally wouldn't CC a striker fired gun without a safety but that's just me.

I didn't like mine at first but it's grown on me. The trigger sucks but I enjoy shooting it now.

Why not just fit a 9mm slide/barrel on the 1911 you usually shoot? The grip angle and lack of similar controls isn't going to help with training.

Its going to be cheaper than a new gun, you won't have a ten day wait, you hate Glocks and while somewhat blasphemous (9mm 1911) you can shoot the 1911's more.

We have the ten day wait in MN also. I got fed up with it and got a permit to purchase..Now I can purchase them and take them home that day :). Not sure if all states have this option, but I would look into it..Just go up to your local PD and ask if they have a forum to fill out for a permit to purchase.

Sometimes you gotta buy what's best. And you all know I'm for buying American. But atleast it's not Taiwanese. The shotty is American. And so is all the ammo.
