closest turners is an hour away which would be fine if i didnt have to drive there again in 10 days. two trips equals the savings in gas for me pretty much.

I've also heard of more and more Kimbers being junk out of he box and requiring multiple trips back to the factory, with each return being a complete hassle.

wow, good to know.  I dont believe i have ever known anyone that personally had a kimber.  they just seemed like nice guns.
