Yeah dude! :)

You got short arms? I'd never make the eye relief on an ACOG in that position...

Haha.  I have the TA31 which has the shortest eye relief out of the ACOGs.  Something like 1.5 or 1.8 inches.  So shooting NTCH (nose to charging handle) works out perfect.

Interesting.  I haven't seen that particular M1A stock.  I've been looking at this one.

That's nice. There are a ton of good stocks on the market for m1a/m14. Also like the Sage stocks alot. One thing I am not to fond of is the forward sight mounting, of course that can be worked around.

I have used the sage, j allen etc every nice m1a stock from $800 to $2500 and they all suck compared to a good old fiberglass or walnut supermatch stock.

Yeah, sage stock minus all of the forward rail would be nice.

I just want something with a solid bedding.  I've read the Springfield syn stocks are the flimsiest of them all (what I have).  Also, having a raised/adjustable cheek rest would be nice without having to use some strap on pad or something. I have seen the adjustable cheek rest you can drill and install yourself but not sure how well they turn out.

Im looking for a carry weapon. I have come up with 3 that I really like. S&W model 19 2.5" barrel, S&W 686 2.5" barrel, or S&W 386 Night guard. I like the K/L frames. The only benefit I see with the night guard is it holds 7 rounds. Im looking to get one used and want to not spend an arm and a leg. What do you guys suggest

Check out a national match or super match walnut stock and have it professionally bedded, then never take the action out of the stock LOL.  You can to clean it, but if you have it professionally bedded to a walnut stock, it will shoot better than you, myself and anyone who hasn't been to camp perry.
