So, has anyone here ordered a gun online?

Like from http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php or anything?

Yes I've ordered probably about 15 different guns from them.  Choose your FFL then go pick it up.

Cheapest in town.

Thanks man.

I like this:

Its right under $300, but it seems ammo is kind of pricy, but I am new to all of this so it may not be so expensive as compared to other guns...

No personal experience but I will tell you, DO NOT let anyone tell you that isn't enough firepower for a carry gun or SD. Mobility vs. Firepower. What do you plan to use it for? Will you be carrying? Strictly a range/SD gun? Once you figure out what its primary use is you can better choose what to go with. What I mean by that is, if you plan to use it as a daily carry, don't go with something you think is going to weigh you down. What good is a gun if you don't carry it all the time because its uncomfortable?

I'll 2nd the fact you gotta figure out what exactly you're doing with the gun before you can start looking.

Don't most FFL's upcharge a ton if its a firearm they currently stock?

Most likely.

Best bet is to find one who doesn't run a huge retail shop.  Check here:

.38  or .22 or 9mm. regardless if the caliber size, as long as you have something its better than nothing!

I own one of those. I've put 200 rounds through it so far, and carry it on a regular basis. The trigger pull is long and heavy, and the recoil from the .40 version is aggressive. I've fed it PMC, Remington, and Federal ammo and have only had 1 feeding problem, and that was my fault. They get a bad rep because when they were first introduced in 1994, apparently there were some issues with reliability but that was long ago and it has been fixed.

I love mine.

Well I was just attracted to its looks a few years ago but the more I look at it the more I like it. It comes in at 17.8 oz unloaded so it's fairly light, isn't it? For a concealed carry that is...

I'll be 21 soon enough so i'm sorta browsing
