I can think of a reason. If you want to get like to a next step in live, applying for a job and such, you maybe don't want anyone to know things about you (for example you're next boss googling your name etc.). I think deleting an account and thereby all posts ever made should be a possibility.

When I google my own full name with these things " around it bikeguide.org is in the results.

i just did that and apparently i'm the president of a company that makes snow plows.

I do not delete accounts.
Almost every person who asked, was hiding from people they owed money to in the sell/swap.

Hahaha, I wish my name was somewhat common so I could do this. And I'd love to run a snowplow company.
