Two Upcoming Contests At The Flow Skatepark
« on: October 11, 2007, 10:27:59 AM »
A few short weeks ago there was a rhythm contest/jam at The Flow which officially kicked off the area's unofficial contest season.  Albeit, not a BMX contest, The Flow is hosting the 4th Annual Hellaween skate contest on October 27th.  Much more importantly, the very next weekend The Flow plays host to the 7th Annual Dirty East contest.

Since I'm quite sure most of you won't take the time to click the link I'll just post all the info below:

Date: Amateurs ride Saturday, November 3rd, Pros ride Sunday November 4th
Practice: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Contest: 2:00pm until the winner is announced
There will be two separate amateur classes; 15 and under and 16 and over
Pro Entrance Fee: $60
Amateur Entrance Fee: $30
Spectator Entrance Fee: $5

Nike is going to have a surprise of sorts at the contest.  I can't say what it is... but it should be good.  Real, real good.

Man, I haven't been able to get myself in for free the past two events I've been to out there.
