I think my name was jr3volcom or smojo or some ish. I didn't really get to know anyone personally but I always appreciated being a part of a like minded community. i've learned so much and bmx will always be a part of me as it represented true freedom from a world I didn't really want to partake in. would be cool to see a thread about people's most interesting life experiences or wisdom they feel inclined to impart. i'm sure we've all been through some interesting times.

The Bike Shop / V3 powerbite

do you know the diffrence between hollowbite and the V3 powerbite?
we had some dudes at RRB in Wisconsin who were kind of lowlifes running them so I always stayed away from Aluminum crankarms like that but ahhh people were calling me cheap or a deadbeat for using Excel classics Excel i don't know what that means to you
I think SBB had them? I remember buying my t1 smalls off him in 2001 or so. My WTP Royals got stolen
I have them for like $200cad on Dans its a good price for them i think.
I've had 4x pairs of cranks in the last 5 years some of the Wisconsin guys were complaining I borrowed Excels from the kids and stayed on them too long so I threw out 2x pairs of Excels with the pedal welded on lol so 2x trailmix too.
Some of the dudes on the forum using paint strippers and stuff alot of primers and building trails (POSH crew)

I’ve found a second bmx wind at 36, I’ve never wanted to ride more or been more motivated to learn new things, but I also have almost no time to ride. I’m lucky to get a session in a week, super lucky if I get to ride twice. Still living in Southern Ca.

This past Dec I got an mri that my acl has been gone for a while, my meniscus has some tears and I have patellar tendinitis. I’ve done enough pt to correct the tendinitis but just have to forgo the pain. I miss riding.
