I sold my Leica for this, much more fun to use, and it goes everywhere now!

I've been looking for a red /yellow filter for a few weeks. can't find it here in norway and none of the online store i shop at in sweden has them.

the search continues

b+w seem to make the best filters. They seem like very good quality to me.

I'd like a Billingham one day, shame all the ones I like are so tiny. Would be refreshing to carry so little.

You must have not looked very far, they make small - huge bags

I've looked into them a little, but I always find myself struggling for enough light. Even shooting at 800 I sometimes have some issues so I'm not sure that a filter is the best idea; even though the results are awesome.

I should probably tape over that stuff as well; or at least the little red dot.

Sounds like you would like a yellow or orange filter!!

Yeah ill only have the red filter on if its sunny.

That looks awesome, glad to see you took the tape off.

Do you loose much light using that red filter?

Yeah i took most of the tape off, still some to cover up the name.

It seems to be around 2 stops, the sky becomes totally awesome, I'm pretty sure that Trent Parke guy would have used a red filter.

yah you only need one for sure! these guys just accumulated over the years, some of them, not naming names... dont work, but ill get around to that one day when i have spare change. The m2 had no leather because it peeled off and it looked too sweet to cover up. your ttl looks great, gaffers tape is awesome.

Do you use the Mamiya 7 much? i wouldn't mind getting one again.
Also how do you like the M2 compared to the M6? do you ever use the metering system in a leica?

Is that gaffer tape or what? I might do the same thing with my Pen F which is in nearly mint condition.

Yeah do it, will be in mint condition if you ever go to sell it.

Its Hockey stick tape, its really good, no stickiness. could hardly feel any stickiness when applying it, didn't think it would stick on anything at first.

Leica M6 TTL, Summicron 35mm ASPH. (Pentax Strap with 2 D type rings. same width and thickness all around)

I have taped it up to protect it for my journeys on bike or motorbike, it also gives better grip.

It also has small pitting on the body so the tape will also keep moisture out, and protect the paint some more, Im a sucker for keeping shit in nice condition.

I also didnt want a case as it would feel bulky.
