Bike Gallery / Re: Fixed gear bikes/ Post your big bikes V2

Lower back pain leads me to believe the saddle is too high. Saddles themselves will have different height between the top and the rails, so swapping saddles without moving your seatpost could change the effective height. Try bringing it down a few mm. Next time, measure from the top of the saddle to the top tube before swapping, then match that number after installing the new saddle.

Snapped this a couple weeks ago when the weather wasn't super shitty.

I've made some small changes and I'll post a newer pic soon.

There was an ELI5 on Reddit a while back on this that was really really good.

I don't rembember the details, and i can't look it up at work, but basicly IE used it's own language for awhile, while Chrome, Oprah, and I think firefox all used webkit.

I'll look for it when I get home.

firefox uses gecko, not webkit

Safari also is webkit based

Half of your decision will come down to whether you want QR or not. If you want QR it looks like the Road/CX hub is your only option. You can also get a bolt on skewer if you change your mind in the future too. Other than that it comes down to which ever one will match your rear hub the best.

Will look into Philly area race tracks now.

I know Bensalem track is closed, not sure if there is anything around the Philly area, except for the new pump track.

I've been riding Road for the last couple years and starting racing seriously last year. I would imagine that picking up a road bike and getting some base miles in or riding a trainer would be a good way to get some winter fitness. I've been training all winter and I'm sure my fitness would translate into BMX, I just need to pick up some brake mounts for my t1 and I might hit up the pump track in the spring.

Seeing as how I consider FlyBikes one of the "new" brands, I guess I'd stick with the old stuff.
