Sell and Swap / Wanted: Matte silver Odyssey fork
« on: May 16, 2018, 08:45:43 PM »
Looking for the matte silver colorway Odyssey fork they put out a few years back. I am good with R25 or 32. Let me know if you have one in decent shape. Thanks.

20 years this summer minus down time from injuries/surgeries, etc.
Hope to bang a few things out from my "wish list" of tricks/obstacles before winter... we shall see

Officially registered Nov. 5th 2005, lurked a while before that, lurked a lot longer after. Still click in daily out of habit, but do miss the old days of always checking for new bikes/parts/mods.

The odyssey bag does not have much support other than bag contents. Needs to be propped against something to stand upright.

7
I've used the hawks nest bike bag with no issues in the pst year. Just kept it in the weight limit.

The 1/4" bolts are a pain as everything else on my bikes is 6mm. I think I will still get one simply because I have waited this long for it.

If you want an easy/tasty/cheap meal to cook and like fish give this a try:

Roll out a piece of foil or parchment paper about 18-24" long.
Slice tomato, onion, lemon into thin slices and layer on foil/parchment (I also toss in basil, up to you though)
Season the veggies with salt/pepper to taste and hit it with some olive oil or a few slices of butter
Lay fish ( I usually use a cheap whitefish but up to you) on top of the veggies, season both sides of fish with salt/pepper
Toss some more lemon and olive oil/butter on top of fish
Roll foil/paper into a sealed pouch and put in baking pan in a 350* oven for 20-30 minutes

You can serve this with some plain rice or pasta as there will be a nice broth/sauce in the pouch.
This will serve 2-4 people depending on how much fish for just a few bucks and is quick, simple and cheap.

I have plenty of other cheap/easy meals but this is probably the easiest to prep and clean up for only a couple dollars.

Sell and Swap / Re: FS: T1 SFA (MAAS Made) Complete Bike

In hindsight I was very wrong. ss1980 has my old green SFA. Don't know why I had a brain fart and thought this was it. Either way, the Maas made SFA's are amazing. If I didn't have another one I would consider this for the collection.

He got it from me. Used to be the original dark green color.

Reacting to difficult news/situations in such violent manners is the opposite of growing up if you ask me. Very childish reaction w/ adult consequences is all.

Can't lie, I haven't been as interested in the brand in a while now. Hadn't thought about it being directly related to Jim C. leaving, but the approximate timeline is about the same. Can't put my finger on anyone reason, but definitely not as hype on them as I was during the first frame era through the Second Wave.

The Bike Shop / Re: new T1/animal tires
« on: March 27, 2016, 11:04:22 AM »
I'm pretty psyched on this collaboration. Animal and T-1 are probably two of my top three or four favorite BMX companies to support. Animal tires have always treated me well, and I have wanted another slic style tire since the death of the ASM. Hopefully these have the longevity of an Animal tire, with a little less weight( plus T-1 cool points).
