The Bike Shop / Re: questions for front and rear brake users.

Suelo front brake. Nothing else comes close. Love my eclat lever, would recommend. For cables and detangler I use Impurity, pretty good but hard to get. I would get a snafu system

Just realised that I havent broken a chain in years, perhaps 6?

I used to break chains like if it was a hobby back in the 45t days.

Should probably get a new and stronger chain...

I tend to cringe when I hear about people talking about BMX companies and teams. If the conversation between Vans and Harry went as he said it seems a bit childish. Its just money and sponsorship, why would you have to build a core team and feel used etc, its just business.

If I was a company and had a sponsored riders where one guy is doing his own thing but is still being noticed and showcasing my product while I dont pay him much for it, then what is the problem for me? Can still have a core team and sponsor other riders.

Anyway, let him do his own thing. Ezra and those guys didnt break the industry, are they even still around? Think KHE is somewhat trying to do the same thing. If/when it fails for him in the future he will have a slightly harder time getting new sponsors.

Norton has that effect on computers. I had to uninstall my version as my computer just became horribly slow.

Otherwise reformat your drive and/or clean the inside of your computer.

I had one for a short while.

There is no cable guide/connecter included in the box, there werent any in mine at least, so the shop had to give me a seperate one which didnt really work that well...

The brake works "OK" but not amasingly. I would strongly recommend a Suelo brake instead.

Still pretty sure Flatland fuel is the way to go. Think you can get Flatware sprockeys for your cranks, might be super small though.

I went to a friend's place and got drunk on wine and danced for 4 hours and went home with a girl. Was a good night.

Wow, I have collegues that just bring a copy of everything with them when they swap companies. I have been worried about people finding out even though I myself never done anything similar.

I bet there was some level of involvement. But seeing how Odyssey have G and a product developing team I doubt that a single "just" pro-rider had any serious design input

I wonder if these would be useful for a non-amputee. I can imagine riding a platform pedal without pins, feet might slide around though.

The Bike Shop / Re: Thick grips.

As I mentioned in the other thread I used to ride 1" bars too and loved it. I ranted to my friend about noone making them anymore and he cracked "Why dont you just put something underneath your current grips, like tape?"

I guess bar tape could be an option, if you can make it even. Shall try it sometime.

My favorite bar ever was the complete opposite. I rode a KHE Phil Dohlan 9" aluminium bar for light street (held up for years) and it had 1" grip area and 7/8 stem diameter. It started slipping when the knurling went away so couldnt ride them anymore
