Is it just me or does it not seem like Eclat have a whole division for crank development?

I Think the biggest question is;
Did you use the "Bikeguide, I hold you forever true" code when buying the forks from Empire?

The Lounge / Re: Do you like old or new bike companies?

I actually prefer newer. I have been in the scene for like 12-15 years something. Have had friends talk about almost having to like T1 or similar brands because I'm considered an older rider. Truth is that I always disliked those brands...

For some reason I have always preffered continental European brands such as Twentybicycles, Dragonfly, Mankind, Autumn, Country bikes and KHE.

Edit; I guess KHE is an old Company...

Riding KHE puncture proof in 2.1-2.2 something. After riding the foldable ones for years and then trying other tires for a year I realised that I cant go back, KHE tires > everything. The puncture proofs are heavier but have the benefit of not giving you a puncture or exploding on you...

Minor in etching? Wow, didn't think you could get an education like that anymore at a uni.

Cant tell you anything about Chicago other than that one of my BMX friend is moving there himself in a couple of weeks.

I went on vacation to Basel. Close to a lot of countries so good for traveling (I have no idea where you are from, but I guess you will be into travelling since you will be an exchange student).

City itself is not big, but nice. Some old roman ruins close by that was quite good. Woodward Munich might be done next semester, so go there.

I have been on profile-esque cranks for years and hate how difficult it is to take the cranks apart. But its not the end of the world as it normally only has to be done maybe once a year to change b/b or sprocket.

The system is not perfect but is developed and tested to work, so why spend money on it when you can just start selling something with a gimmick without much R&D and make a big buck?
Props for eclat and G to try and develop the crank market.

The Bike Shop / Re: What's your most favourite part on your bike ?

Its between;
 - My S&M Intrikat bars that has a geometry so different than anything else yet perfect for me
 - My Marmoset hub with BSD guards that just spins so lovely and just screams durability
 - My KHE Ehrlköning flatland cranks which are super light. I expected them to die within a month of me riding street and park but is still perfect.

I think so. I still have og fly brakes and think they are the best brake made.

Cant say for rear brake but my front one was 20000 % better than any other brake Ive had.

The last couple of models have been differently made though, so not sure if their brakes work as good anymore
