I would love a pair of low drag bars. I am just bummed that they just come in 8". As a tall guy I need/prefer taller bars.
I can kinda see how the idea of bringing them back is the brainchild of Mat, who might not be into the tall bar trend (even though 8" is quite tall anyway).
Not sure who the bars cater to, can only see flatlanders be into those bars with the current geometry, or old-school riders.

Me and a couple of friends. Copenhagen have two great vert ramps!

Most kids/guys ride street though. I absolutely hate street and havent ridden street in a couple of years though...

There are insane amounts of bikes like that here in Copenhagen. There are 100000 different types and they are all super expensive.

Cant you just weld the crack?

I run BSD front and rear and they look almost new. Mind you, I am not hard on my bike and ride 99 % bowl and vert.

My rear plastic guard looks brand new but for some reason slows the hub down when its installed even though I cant see it rubbing...
I thus ride only the inner. I switched to the cymbal guard on my freecoaster as using a aluminium one made me have to hire Hulk Hogan each time I had to take the Wheel apart. I had to spread the dropouts out more than [insert any pornstar's name] to make it fit.

I just realised that I actually went back to my Ratchet Cassette hub that I cant use my Cymbal on (I think)!
I actually use the inner aluminum core from the BSD guard, as the plastic broke and I cant find a replacement

Southeast Asia is quite a standard Place to go bum around in for a while without breaking your bank. I have myself spent a month in Vietnam and would not want to bring my bike there...
Malaysia/Singapore have good scenes though.

I run a S&M cymbal guard with animal pegs and like it. I previously had a BSD (Alone?) plastic guard that was flush.

I prefer not flush as it doesnt touch all the time when I grind. Remember, a hub guard is designed to protect your hub, not necessarily to be grinded on.

I have had a couple of plastic pegs in my Days, but mostly odd versions you probably wont consider...

I had the plegs V.1. and while I felt that they lasted OK at best I felt that they were too slow on most materials. I also had the Primo pegs but felt that they were way too short and have since moved on to the Animals.

The Butchers long are good in my opinion, maybe wear a bit quickly, but ok. I understand that you want thin pegs, but you should also consider that it might limit the life span of your pegs considerably. In general a large contact area is preferable for your plastic pegs to avoid rapid wear. so a thick plastic peg would not wear in such a long time.

If you still insist on small diameter plastic pegs I would just get the Stolen thermolites or similar knock-offs. Myself and a lot of my friends have ridden knock-offs from random normal bike stores that sell them for nothing and they work well.

Based on what I have heard they will in a sense divide the product catalouge in two parts. One with bikes and some parts for sports stores and one with more actual rider oriented parts/bikes

BMXbutikken is my local shop, I work in Copenhagen. Send them a message on Facebook, the employees/owners are from Australia/uk/usa, so there wont be any language barrier or such...

Is there any difference in strength between fork dropouts made for 3/8īs and those made for 14 mm? or is the difference neglectable?

In my eyes shadow > Cult. Even though Shadow started out pushing their image they still have had some real innovations, even though some might be a bit odd (included subrosa products).

I really dislike Cult, they are the opposite of what I want in a company. Selling non-inventive Products because of image. Only goes for sponsored riders and image. I never understood the idea BMXers have with strong teams being a Selling factor.

I hate tube spacers, they never fit nicely. Be glad it was too short, and not too long. I have had problems with BBs for like 10 years and the biggest annoyance is having too long tube spacers, had to go to a machine shop to get it cut nicely.

After all my troubles I have collected an impressive amounts of tube spacers that I can chose from when buying a new frame.
