Right fellas. Custom FBM arrives tommorow, Im planning the build & im not 100% sure on what seat set up i want.. Choices are.

Eclat OZ Fat Brown
Eclat Torch 135mm Polished

FBM Heart Black/Red

That wheel is QUALITY. I havent ridden it for years, probably need a good service now but i have a Nan/file hub with a 12t driver (long time ive had it!) One of my favourite hubs for sure. I think it will definately suit the Intrikat! I know how frustrating it is waiting on parts & even more so when you dont have the money for the parts you want. Hurry up & get it finished, i love me a good Intrikat & the old skool stuff is pure flatland history too!

I wanted to try the Sunday 24" supposedly rides like a BMX, now i see these 22" wheels & wonder what these are like? Id love to set either up for street (something like Bunkys) & have a little shred. I just dont want to shell out serious money for either & then get bored/not like it.

Not sure if i said this or not, CBA to check. I put the Stranger bars on my Marv & the S&M seat/Fit 200mm Post too. I'll probably put the Primo E-comets on it at some point too. FBM should be with me next week if all goes well & i keep changing my mind on what parts i want.

If they can ship them to the UK, im gunna get the 8.3" ones. I ran Odsy Lumberjacks for quite a while & i got on with them ok just missing the upsweep.

Gunna see about getting a set of those OSS Gary bars too. Theyre on sale for $40 & the sweeps at least are pretty much spot on, plus theyre chrome!

The last bars i ever really felt comfortable were Odyssey Civilian Highs but i bent them & had to throw them away in the end (before i really knew about odysseys great warranty) Over time ive got used to slightly wider bars, not a great deal wider than the Civilians mind, so 26" feels perfect to me. I think there are 2 or 3 handle bars under 8" now-a-days too so custom seems like the only way really.

So i tried the Stranger bars out today. Whilst my back loves them, I cannot get used to the height. Ive been running larger & larger bars & my hops keep getting lower & lower. So the Stranger bars are on my Marv, my mate rides it quite alot so i doubt he'll have the same issues i have. Ive just emailed Solid about getting some custom bars, theyre copies of the last bars i actually felt comfortable on & enjoyed riding with a little tweek of being slightly wider. Hopefully they will be able to do them & i shall be paying for them in a week or two after the FBM has arrived & all duties etc are paid!

Im going with....

7.75" Height
26" Width
4.5 Degree Upsweep
10.5 Degree Backsweep
Straight Gauge .065" Tubing
19mm Cross Bar
5.375" Cross Bar Height
10" Cross Bar Width
Raw Clearcoat (To match my FBM frame)

Loving it! Im glad to see most hubs are coming with at least a female axle option now. I know not all of them are proper female axles (Transgender BS) but at least companies are trying haha.

Have you seen those new Eclat Jaw rims? Those things are BEASTY. I bet you'd have a job destroying them!
