But they will fit, right?

You may be able to cram one in but it could get bunched up and pinch flat itself. Slightly smaller tubes are okay, bigger is not IMO.

We traded in the wife's Mk5 Rabbit for this CPO Tiguan. The 2.0 tsi and AWD are a nice combination.

(Ignore the random mcmansion, we were parked there for a birthday party)

Got a heck of a deal on an OEM roof rack today! They're $375 new + shipping, I picked one up from a dude who never even mounted anything to it so it's like new for $175 shipped. Stoked on that.

Now to find a good deal in a bike attachment.

Damn, that's a score and a half.

Just returned my Nissan Leaf that I got a loan of for the week. Never thought I'd say this but I freaking loved it. So quiet and relaxing.

I believe you may have lost your testacles somewhere along the way. :D

How much is a nice car in the US? It seems like it is so much easier to buy good stuff over there, any decent car here is a fucked up amount of cash.

I guess it all depends on your definition of "nice"...

There is a sweet age spot here where cars get dirt cheap though. At 20ish years old they aren't new enough for most, but aren't old enough to be classics. So they are cheap.

But the huge downside is that we get shit selection compared to the rest of the world.

A Glory! I haven't seen one of those in a while. Awesome suspension from what I've heard.

I miss the big bike thread. I would have never looked through it I guess. Life goes on.

We already have a replacement... Life goes on I guess.

....Amazed and etc but I don't want to go ride after watching that. I'm not going to do one damn thing he did in that.

The same could be said for 90% of pro videos these days. At least he's doing crazy shit in a smooth controlled style instead of rail to manual to ledge jibs over and over.

The same can also be said for pro level motorsports but F-1 is still entertaining.

True though, I get more stoked watching something like OG David's videos.

Since the last one got deleted we'll start again.

Booked my ferry to France today. Setting sail on the 20th and then cycling 3000ish km to Sicily. Riding a Surly LHT 26". PUMPED!

Awesome!

Will you have a running blog/thread/site for your adventures?

Didn't even think of pulling the fenders. Duh. The most obvious choice... I'm not all too concerned about the ability to go back to stock, I can always find someone to trade fenders with me if the time comes to sell. Just don't want to cut them up because I don't trust the body shop to get a good seal again to stop rust from the inside.

I wanted to wait on the wheels, but we've had pretty consistent above 5*C days here, so I think it's safe to say there won't be another blizzard. Luckily, I'm starting up the surveying season again in a few weeks so I should have a work truck by next week and if it gets really shitty out, I'll just use the truck.

Speaking of school, I just got accepted to university for electrical engineering, but I think I'll be putting that off for a year to pay the car off in full, as well as owe my company less money for the apprenticeship courses I've been put on in the past few weeks. Real life is a bummer when it comes to hobbies... Unless you're Sokolaka, then you have all the money in the world for toys.

Definitely pull those fenders! Nice choice on the wheels and tires too, it should drive awesome.

I will quickly chime in for Sokolaka too... That dude works his ass off. Lol
