I believe the offset spoke holes allowed you to inward lace the wheel. That, combined with the thicker flange, meant that the spokes and spoke heads were less prone to grind damage.

Has the geometry of brakes stayed the same or has it changed to accommodate clearance for larger tires?

In my experience, brake arms have not changed in shape to accommodate larger tires. When I was building up my current frame I bought a brand new set of Evo IIs only to find out that there was absolutely zero chance that they would fit around my 2.25" tire. The set of Eclat arms that I had did the same thing. I ended up filing out the inside of some OG Fly arms and they've worked so far.

I think G has said that the Springfield arms have lots of clearance, and I think the Shadow Sano arms do as well.

Black LHD 9t Profile Mini hubs laced to chrome Sun Envy rims with black spokes/nipples. Wheels are in awesome shape. Brand new GDH axle and hardware in back, new cone washers in front. Slight grind rash on spokes but the hubs themselves are perfect.

Bobby, I agree that it's lame to pitch a BS sob story in order to get a fair price, but that's life. The large majority of folks either want to get top dollar for the stuff they're selling, or they want to pay the least amount possible for what they're buying--BMX is no different. It's the nature of wheeling and dealing.

What about this dude's claims that you're still trying to hit him up to make deals happen? If true, why go through such great lengths to dissuade folks from dealing with this guy if you're not going to follow your own advice?
